San Antonio requires council approval for every new data center, 9-2

San Antonio's City Council voted 9-2 on Oct. 29 to limit data centers to heavy commercial and industrial areas and to require council approval for each project, with conditions set case by case. Council members Misty Spears and Marc Whyte voted no, according to KENS 5.
